Elder and Sister Burr

Mission Experiences

Second Mission
We will be serving in the Seoul South Korea mission for two years. We will be posting our experiences below.

First Mission
Hello to all our family and friends visiting this Blog. We are excited about our mission to Kharkov Ukraine. We are in the Donetsk Mission as Humanitarian/Welfare missionaries. Half of our time will be spent helping members with employment. We are also taking Russian lessons from a little Ukrainian girl twice a week. Our brains seem to be a bit scrambled but we are enjoying the process. Keep tuned in and we will keep you updated on what's happening. We are loving it here in Ukraine and we love the people. What a great experience.

This is Sister Burr Standing with her just outside of her home.
This is her home. She is self saficient here. She has chickens, goats and a nice garden and you can see a table in the background by her front door which she uses to work on. The man infront of Sister burr is Sergey Maydon. His place is next to hers and she keeps the keys to his place while he is not there which is most of the year. He has an orchard that may be used in the Food Initiative Program.
This is the table of which I mentioned she works on. Right now she has ears of corn that she is drying. She said the red corn is for popping.
The corn reminds us of indian corn.
This is one of her two goats she milks and I guess may makes cheese out of.
