After going to the temple with the couples we looked back and saw this view of the temple so we took a picture of it. Elder and Sister Burr
Mission Experiences
Second Mission
We will be serving in the Seoul South Korea mission for two years. We will be posting our experiences below.
First Mission
Hello to all our family and friends visiting this Blog. We are excited about our mission to Kharkov Ukraine. We are in the Donetsk Mission as Humanitarian/Welfare missionaries. Half of our time will be spent helping members with employment. We are also taking Russian lessons from a little Ukrainian girl twice a week. Our brains seem to be a bit scrambled but we are enjoying the process. Keep tuned in and we will keep you updated on what's happening. We are loving it here in Ukraine and we love the people. What a great experience.Sunday, March 27, 2011
This is a playroom for children who come to be sealed to their parents.
This is a hallway full of rooms for those who come a long ways to attend the temple. Wives and Husbands have to be seperated to accomadate more people (Women on one side of the hall and men on te other) and no children can come with them unless they are being sealed.
This is Yanna standing next to us. She is the first Employment Specialist in the Donetsk Mission and she is really a sharp person. She understood very well what needs to be done in the employment area
This is the class under way. They were a great class and we had a lot of fun. Lots of laughs and lots of learning. They were grateful for the information. Even the mission presidents wife said she would use the information when she gets home in three months. Friday, March 4, 2011

This is interesting. This is a dryer for their cloths. These five racks pull out from the wall to hang their cloths on. They push the racks back into the wall and it is kind of warm back in there but not hot. As you can see the two stacks of clothes waiting to go into the dryer. A picture of their washing machine is below. Notice this guy has a hat and coat on.
