Before we went to L'Viv we had a senior couples confrence. The president liked it enough and got a lot of good ideas from the senior couples he wants one every six months.

This is the mission president's driver. He is a great man and a branch president and Sister Burr talked the mission president into letting him bring his family this time as he is gone from her so much. It was nice to keep then together this time. He called me on my birthday and sang happy birthday to me solo. That goes to show how great of a person he is.

Sister Burr is showing you one of the fine meals that our taxi driver in Kharkov and his nephew prepared and catered for us at the seniors conference at the church. It was very good.

You see a lot of little grandma's in Ukraine carrying sometimes big loads. She was carrying bags of bottles.

This is our translator and his new wife. She was getting ready a taste of wheat sprouts and granola for our food storage and preparation class.

This is our display for the class. We have a $30.00 budget for this class in which we give it to the branch president after the class for him to distrubute to those who may need it.

This is what we went to L'Viv for. This is our Career Workshop Class and these people were very bright and followed very well what we were saying and were very appreciative of us coming to teach them. We have taught a total of 161 people in employment workshops this month.

This is our first picture as we entered L'Viv. It is a nice looking water tower. As you can see by the sky, it is still cold there. It was in the 30's most of the time.

Guess who is watching the world go by as we traveled 19 hours on the train to L'Viv. The room we stayed in is to our back. This was one of the more comfortable trains.

Many of the churches in the smaller villiages are painted blue and we don't know why. Just an attractive color I guess. All villages have a church like this whether the village is big or small.

Hard to see but behind the trees you will see a horse pulling a wagon. This is not unusual here in Ukraine.

This is a Cathalic church which is unusual in Eastern Europe. It took 20 years for the Jesuits to build it and it was the largest church for a long time.

The four window buildings are built by the more wealthy rich people.

The three window building in the background were buildings owned buy less wealthy rich people.

This is a sculpture of Neptune.

This small church which is acually a barrial place for about eight people was built in 1617. The picture below shows you what is on top of the building.

Our tourist guide told us that this is the only piece of art that is like this one. It is called The Sitting Christ.

Lots of work being done to referbish old buildings.

They are trying to take buildings like this to look like the ones in the above picture. They generally start with the buildings in the main part of the city. Well this is the last post we will be doing. Sorry I, Elder Burr, wasn't more consistant in my posts but you got a small flavor of our mission and it has been wonderful. See you all in a few weeks. March 12th and ice cycles still not melting during the day. In the 20's during the day.

Picture of the second to the last district. This was the last district meeting with them. We have one more district of Elders to have a meal with and district meetings with.

We are having a food storage class with the second to the last branch. We will do this one more time with our home branch.
