Elder and Sister Burr

Mission Experiences

Second Mission
We will be serving in the Seoul South Korea mission for two years. We will be posting our experiences below.

First Mission
Hello to all our family and friends visiting this Blog. We are excited about our mission to Kharkov Ukraine. We are in the Donetsk Mission as Humanitarian/Welfare missionaries. Half of our time will be spent helping members with employment. We are also taking Russian lessons from a little Ukrainian girl twice a week. Our brains seem to be a bit scrambled but we are enjoying the process. Keep tuned in and we will keep you updated on what's happening. We are loving it here in Ukraine and we love the people. What a great experience.

We had dinner at our house for our English class.  It was a hit.  These are very pleasant and lovely friends.  We also had the missionaries, one on the left a Korean and the one in the middle from USA. we had a wonderful time.  This was on March 24th 2018 on Wednesday.  Tonight was English class night and this is what we did.  We had a wonderful night of speaking English.

Eating Crab.  Looks delicious huh. It was one of many things to choose from the foods on the table below.

A missionary couple from our mission, Elder and Sister Bang, took us out for a very special Korean dinner commemorating President Turner's birthday.

This is Elder Burr standing out front of our apartment.  Sister Burr still has control of the camera.  We live on the second floor in the back.

This is a compilation of a few pictures from around the city to show you what it's like.

Sister Burr seems to be taking all the picture.  Oh well here we are finally at the Temple.

So up to the temple we go.

We found the Temple gate.  Yea we made it to the front gate of the temple.

This street that goes up hill after the building with the cross on it is the second clue.  We had to go up this hill for about two blocks to find the Temple.

We were given directions to the temple and the cross on the roof of the building in front of us is the first clue in finding the temple.  It took us about a half hour to find this part of the clue after we left the subway.

Going down, down, down to the subway.  Usually it is two set of stairs like this we go down to get to the train.  This is the way we get around town.

It looks like Sister Burr knows what she is doing though. :)

Yesterday I couldn't spell accountant now I are one.  I think.  I wonder what that is.
